The Scaligero Castle is the symbol of Sirmione: a 13th-century fortress surrounded by the waters of Lake Garda. From the main tower you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the peninsula and the medieval village.
We recommend visiting early in the morning to avoid the crowds. The entrance is at the beginning of the old town, reachable on foot or by local shuttle. From our hotel, outside the ZTL, you can leave your car in the free car park and reach the castle with a pleasant lakeside walk.
